The common techniques of radiological imaging, such as standard plain film radiographs, MRI, magnetic resonance arthrography computed tomography (CT), weightbearing CT, and ultrasound, which enable accurate assessment of joint degeneration and associated pathologies for optimal patient care, are reviewed.
