Radiologists play a crucial role in guiding and supporting clinical care, both in the genitourinary system and throughout the rest of the body. In the course of normal clinical radiologic practice, diagnostic errors occur and are categorized based on their nature, such as recognizing the finding but misinterpreting their cause or lacking the expertise to identify an abnormal observation. This article examines common imaging pitfalls in genitourinary imaging and provides illustrative examples.
