Depuis la crise sanitaire du Covid-19, les pharmaciens d’officine ont endossé un rôle crucial dans la prévention et la protection de la population en réalisant des tests rapides d’orientation diagnostique (Trod). Désormais, les patients les sollicitent en cas de suspicion d’infection urinaire ou d’angine bactérienne. Bien que ces Trod se démocratisent, il n’en demeure pas moins que des règles très strictes régissent leur usage.

Since the Covid-19 health crisis, community pharmacists have taken on a crucial role in preventing and protecting the population by carrying out rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs). Patients now seek them out when they suspect they have a urinary tract infection or bacterial tonsillitis. Although these rapid diagnostic tests are becoming more widely available, the fact remains that their use is governed by very strict rules.
