This article introduces prosocial artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformative framework for addressing oral health disparities among people with disabilities. Traditional AI often overlooks the complex needs of this population, reinforcing systemic inequities. Prosocial AI prioritizes equity, inclusion, and human dignity by engaging disabled communities and caregivers in codesign. Applications include adaptive diagnostics, caregiver support tools, and inclusive teledentistry. The article emphasizes ethical design, participatory development, and cross-sector collaboration as essential to building equitable, disability-competent oral health care systems.
