Atopic dermatitis is the most prevalent and burdensome inflammatory skin disorder worldwide. Despite significant new insights into disease epidemiology, pathogenesis, and therapeutics over the past decade, significant challenges remain. This article aimed to identify outstanding challenges and suggest where novel innovations are likely to be made to address these.
