Artificial Intelligence in Breast Reconstruction - 13/10/26

Résumé |
Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to aid breast reconstruction through predictive modeling, patient-specific image generation, and educational support tools. Machine learning algorithms are being used to forecast patient-reported outcomes and surgical complications, while deep learning models offer visual simulations to support shared decision-making. Patients are increasingly using large language models and AI chatbots to seek answers to their surgical questions. Although these AI applications remain in the early stages of clinical integration, ongoing model refinements and clinical validation may accelerate the adoption of these tools to enhance care in breast reconstruction.
