| The authors first learned about the GATE from its main developer, Rod Jackson, M.B.Ch.B., Ph.D., while attending the 11th Oxford Workshop in Teaching Evidence-Based Practice at the University of Oxford’s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, September 5-9, 2005. They express their gratitude to Professor Jackson for allowing them to share the GATE materials with the broader child and adolescent psychiatric community.
