| Commentary Although the new endoscopic technologies are exciting, their availability does not necessarily imply they need be used in all cases. Here, small bowel series or CT enterography would have shown a jejunal apple-core lesion and would have prompted surgery without the potential risks of two more endoscopic procedures.
