This article summarizes the typical and rather atypical imaging appearances of a vast array of benign liver lesions, as depicted with current state-of-the-art radiological techniques, including ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Furthermore, lesion-specific imaging features arerelated in this review to their histopathologic background in order to achieve an optimal understanding of individual features and differentiating findings.
