Résumé

Injectable contraception offers users convenient, safe, and reversible contraception as effective as surgical sterilization. With US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of a combination estrogen/progestin monthly formulation (anticipated in late 2000), two injectable contraceptives will be available for use by American women.
