Electrophysiologic and neuroimaging studies are quite useful in localizing and identifying various structural origins. Because ulnar neuropathy may be the initial presentation of a generalized neuropathy, careful clinical and electrophysiologic evaluation is important to exclude a more widespread neuropathy.
