Abstract |
In conclusion, this study defines the expected changes in hemoglobin at several time points following balloon PTCA, together with group confidence intervals and prediction intervals for an individual patient. Group data can be used as a standard for past and future studies, and data for an individual can be used to permit identification of a patient with an unexpectedly large reduction in hemoglobin.
