Depuis la réforme visant à universitariser les formations paramédicales en France, celle d’infirmier de bloc opératoire diplômé d’État a connu une transformation majeure en 2022. Cette réingénierie a eu des effets notables sur le cursus et les compétences acquises, avec une part plus importante consacrée à la recherche appliquée. Les défis et opportunités liés à cette récente évolution sont analysés.

Since the reform aimed at bringing paramedical training in France into line with university standards, the training program for state-certified OR nurses underwent a major transformation in 2022. This overhaul had a significant impact on the curriculum and the skills acquired, with a greater emphasis placed on applied research. The challenges and opportunities associated with this recent development are analyzed.
