Management and survival in colorectal cancer (CRC) is dictated by the extent of disease at the time of initial diagnosis. Technologic advancements in the past 25 years have improved our ability to accurately stage these tumors and to detect the presence of recurrence. This review will focus on the utility and indications of the available imaging modalities for the management of colorectal cancer.
