In recent years the authors have focused their clinical interest on “Non Compliance Orthodontics”. Purpose of these presentation is to illustrate the effects of a new proposal of treatment for counteracting excessive vertical growth with a non-compliance appliance for molar intrusion. The elements of control in the appliance are two elastic modules, secured on the upper and on the lower first molar tubes. The appliance is used in combination with upper and lower soldered lingual arches. The results, in terms of reductions of skeletal anterior vertical height, are excellent. Patient acceptance is good and the patient's only responsibility is to keep the appliance clean and avoid breakage.
