The current advances in orthodontic and surgical techniques have given rise to close collaboration between orthodontist and surgeon in a context of true and efficient synergy for the benefit of patients.
Patients’ expectations are now perfectly clear and precise. In a nutshell, they want aesthetic and functional results.
These are the aims of morpho-functional surgery of the face closely allied with orthodontic treatment in the framework of an orthodontic-surgical protocol.
The great challenge adult orthodontics has to meet is three-pronged: speed, discretion and efficiency.
