Résumé |
Les bêtalactamines constituent une famille d’antibiotiques très homogène aux plans structural, pharmacologique et thérapeutique. Elles se caractérisent toutes par un élément structural commun, le noyau bêtalactame, d’où leur nom. Ce sont aujourd’hui des antibiotiques incontournables et souvent prescrits. Le risque principal de leur utilisation est la survenue possible d’allergie.

Beta lactam antibiotics are a class of antibiotics which are very homogenous on the structural, pharmacological and therapeutic level. They are all characterised by a common structural element, the beta lactam ring, hence their name. They have become indispensable and are often prescribed. The main risk of their use is the possible occurrence of an allergy.
