De nombreux patients souffrant de douleurs chroniques sont suivis au centre d’évaluation et de traitement de la douleur de Clermont-Ferrand. Depuis 2014 un programme d’éducation therapeutique du patient, « Vivradol, la douleur dans la vie » aide les patients à devenir plus autonomes dans la gestion de leur douleur chronique. Pour orienter les patients sur les différents ateliers du programme Vivradol l’équipe de soin a mis en place un bilan éducatif initial (BEI) qui a été remanié au fil du temps pour devenir plus interactif et pour mieux cerner les attentes et besoins des patients. Grâce à une collaboration avec l’unité transversale d’éducation thérapeutique (UTEP) du service de Santé Publique deux outils ont été finalisés et sont désormais utilisés pour le BEI : les cartes d’entretien et la carte conceptuelle de synthèse des données. L’objectif final de ce bilan est de pouvoir proposer un programme le plus personnalisé et adapté possible au patient.

Many patients suffering from chronic pains are followed in Clermont-Ferrand's Pain Center. Since 2014 a patient educational program, “Vivradol, la douleur dans la vie” helps patients to become more autonomous in the management of their chronic pain. In order to direct patients on the various workshop of the program Vivradol, the Pain Center team set up an initial educational assessment (IEA), which was reshaped over time to become more interactive and to encircle better expectations and needs for the patients. Thanks to a collaboration with the Hospital department of public health two tools were finalized and are used from now on for the IEA: interview cards and mind map of synthesis data. The final aim of this outcome is to be able to propose a most personalized and adapted program for patient.
