Comment susciter la motivation sans manipuler ? Il est important de préparer le patient avant de lui suggérer de « passer » à l’action. Rechercher avec le patient les obstacles possibles lui permettant de renforcer le bénéfice à changer. En décidant lui-même, il sera motivé et il n’y aura pas de manipulation possible ! Pourquoi les patients nous font-ils croire qu’ils prennent leurs traitements ? Deux sortes de mensonges peuvent apparaître, « ne pas tout dire et dire des choses fausses ». Il faudrait dire la vérité au patient au moment opportun et co-construire avec lui sa vérité. Donnons du temps « kairos » au temps « chronos ».

How to motivate without manipulating? It is important to prepare the patient before suggesting he take action.
