Comme tous les anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens, l’ibuprofène présente un effet antiagrégant plaquettaire qui potentialise le risque hémorragique des anticoagulants oraux directs tels que le dabigatran. Le pharmacien d’officine doit identifier l’interaction et le risque hémorragique, mais aussi sensibiliser les patients traités par anticoagulant oral direct aux risques de l’automédication sans avis pharmaceutique.

Like all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ibuprofen has a platelet-aggregating effect that potentiates the bleeding risk of direct oral anticoagulants such as dabigatran. The dispensing pharmacist must identify the interaction and the risk of bleeding, but also make patients treated with direct oral anticoagulants aware of the risks of self-medication without pharmaceutical advice.
