Les maladies neurodégénératives affectent les fonctions cognitives, en particulier la communication, des personnes qui en sont atteintes. Face à cette difficulté, les soignants s’appuient souvent sur l’aidant. Soutien moral, mais également facilitateur de communication, ce dernier est considéré comme un partenaire essentiel, jouant un rôle crucial dans la qualité des échanges et la prise de décision clinique et éthique. Cette étude analyse le phénomène communicationnel des dyades aidant-aidé, afin d’identifier les aspects métacommunicationnels leur permettant de se comprendre, ainsi que les obstacles et les facilitateurs préservant leurs interactions, cela en vue de penser un accompagnement soignant-dyade plus adapté

Neurodegenerative diseases affect the cognitive functions, particularly communication, of those who suffer from them. Faced with this difficulty, caregivers often rely on the support of family members. Providing moral support and facilitating communication, family members are considered essential partners, playing a crucial role in the quality of exchanges and clinical and ethical decision-making. This study analyzes the communicational phenomenon of caregiver-care recipient dyads in order to identify the metacommunicational aspects that enable them to understand each other, as well as the obstacles and facilitators that preserve their interactions, with a view to developing a more appropriate caregiver-dyad support system.
